I've been through my fair share of different paper. I typically print my own digital illustrations and I've landed on this one as my go to in most circumstances. There are a few things in particular that I think stand out with the Finestra over some others for me:1. I've found that the surface is way less prone to flaking and therefore doesn't end up with those tiny little white dots when a small spec of fiber or dust comes up after the printing process. I hit most of my paper with an air can before I print to try and alleviate this problem but generally speaking, I've skipped this step with this paper and the results are excellent.2. I love the bright white finish. I have a lot of different thicker papers that are a shade or two darker. While this is fine for some circumstances, I really like the bright white when I have an image that needs an intense white. Most of my digital drawings are very vibrant so the striking white is a huge compliment to the rest of the colors.3. The packaging is excellent. The boxes allow it to be pretty beat up in transit and still arrive in perfect condition. Most look pretty rough when they hit my door but I've never had any that were actually bent or otherwise impacted during shipping.4. Smooth finish allows my work to look precisely as I want it. In most cased, this is what I'm looking for. Sometimes a bit of texture is good for other things (and they sell some of that style as well) but for me, I like things to be crisp and accurate. This paper does a great job of letting my work shine through.5. I'd say it's a good value. You can get lost in the weeds looking for the perfect paper. I think this is a great place to start and economical enough that even if you don't use it for your end result prints, its a great way to proof things without spending too much or using an inferior paper.6. The weight is good and the thickness, although maybe on the "thinner" side of art paper, is really good for most prints. In particular, if you have a printer that creates roller lines on thicker paper (looking at you Epson) this will work through the auto feed slot on most and hasn't resulted in any weird marks in any of my canon or Epson printers. If you need a thicker paper, they sell some higher mil thicknesses too but I feel the image quality is better on this one for my work.Overall, I can't say enough good about this paper. It is my go to on a daily basis and I assume it will stay that way for a long time to come. Even though I sometimes use different paper for different images, this is the one I always make sure I have more of.
