while i know that amazon does not allow me to comment on packaging - will keep this short -- i was really worried when i received my frame - the outer box had seen better times, believe me. HOWEVER: the seller does an incredible job of protecting their product - it comes quicker than any frame shop could put together your request with excellent products and as described. will buy again any time i want a quality frame to preserve my stuff. thanks to ART TO FRAMES,A reasonable option if you want to save money over a custom frame shop, but frankly these are clearly overpriced for the quality of the frame and construction. They advertise 'highest quality' components, but this is just pure advertising. Plexiglas sheet (not real glass) is ~1mm thick, frame is pure particle board with paint on top, and components overall are much cheaper quality than the rave reviews . . . or the listing . . . would suggest. This stuff looks like it was purchased in bulk from China, and resold at a relative premium. It all seems just a little bit fishy . . . .Decent frame -- not extraordinary. For the price, it was a 'bargain' with the matting ... but I think framing must be a real racket. It was packed ridiculously well, plexiglass not real glass, the mat material is just o.k. It took a long time to ship (I'm in WA) ... and was dusty, I assume from storage in some huge pre-made frame warehouse. To sum up, ok frame for the price, dirty, slow shipping -- AND you have to screw in the enclosed hanger yourself. I wasn't impressed.Great frame! Looks very professional for the price . I took a star away because it isn’t real glass, and you have to mount the hardware yourself (included though). All in all, I’m very pleased.I ordered a frame to hang a watercolor that my husband especially liked. I was able to get just the right color mat, which set off the painting perfectly. I was so pleased when the frame arrived. The watercolor looks great matted and in such a nice frame.Later I went ahead and ordered two more matted frames for more of my art work. I am very happy with the quality of the frames and the large selection of mat colors. Art to Frames is my go-to frame store.Frame - okay. Double matte - okay. Plastic glazing - terrible. Suppose I should have known. This frame is actually pretty good until you have to look at a picture through the plastic glazing. It is so thin it simply warps and bends making it really tough to view the picture. If a light is on behind you, all you see is the reflection of the light, you literally cannot easily see the picture. So, I'd not recommend this at all. I have removed the glazing it is so bad. Next step is to throw it out and buy something that actually works.Another flawless purchase from ArtToFrames. I probably have 10 of their frames now, and I've never had an issue with any of them.This is a very high quality frame at a fraction of the cost you would normally pay for something this well constructed. Would definitely recommend!Beautiful frame and mat!
