For the price it's good quality paper however the texture is very obvious, so something to consider when printing your photos. I may purchase this again for my random prints but will stick to Canon paper for the more professional shots.Great for photo snaps and proofing. Luster surface is very reflective when viewed from an angle and can interfere with viewing the subject of the photo. Not bad for the price. Will try the satin finish next.I have a Canon Pixma Pro 10. I’ve been using only Canon products in my printer. I decided to give this photo paper I try after I had tried some of their other paper products which are of good quality. This photo paper is so much better than Canon IMO. Colors are vibrant, doesn’t smudge, high paper quality. I was having some trouble with the Canon paper which is why I tried something different. I’m glad I did. This is the only photo paper I order now. I highly recommend.I’ve always bought Canon paper, but took a chance on this... it was a good bet!A lot of the cheaper photo paper reviews complain about the thickness, but this paper has a very nice weight (it’s proper thick). The luster is beautiful for a more professional photo look... glossy is more for random photos you keep in an envelope. What can I say? Quality is high, price is low... it’s a great purchase. If you take nice photos, and want to print them at home... get Koala paper.Disclaimer: I do use a fairly nice printer. So if this paper doesn’t work for you, it’s probably the cheap printer! My thoughts on this product are as follows: I find the luster effect of the paper tends to make the prints a little darker than glossy paper. I would suggest lightening your print a half stop to one stop. This may also be caused by the size as I usually print 8x10 or larger. Maybe it's just my eyes, but glossy prints look brighter. You cannot beat the price though.Taking a look at my images, I have samples. The larger sheet on the top is the Canon Pro Luster. The smaller one (5x7) is the Koala. The one to bottom right is the printed Koala. I was expecting the gloss to be as the Canon Pro Luster but, as you can see, it's not. But, that's not a bad thing either. I can truly say I am satisfied with the color representation. The slight gloss adds that extra punch. It's beautiful. I also printed a black and white, with the same result. It's a nice look. I will be ordering this same type in 4x6 soon. Not as good as other brands I've used....I had to do a return because it smeared and the ink adhesion was poor. :+(A good paper for snapshot printing; would not recommend for fine 'art' photos but then who prints fine art on 5x7 anyway? A little less glossy than i would like (luster finish), but quite useable.Skin tones look faded, but beside that, you get a descend quality. I've got an HP Office Jet 8025 and it dries instantaneously.Would buy again for personal and fun use.For pro use, you might want another brandThe texture is too shiny, almost glittering. Because of that you can't see clearly the picture, it has a hazy effect. Dynamic range is not high at all. The colours were good though. Comparing this paper to Canon Pro Luster leaves no room for competition. In overall, very poor performance.Way too much textured than any other luster, makes picture a bit darker side of that.I use this product for doing my alcohol inks art. The inks move beautifully, and are easily removable if necessary.Out of all the paper I purchased for our Canon Pixma Pro 100, this paper was the best. It's nice a thick and the overall quality of the print surface is very nice. It's currently my favorite paper to print on.
