This light box is a must-have for professional looking photos.No proper way to mount backdrops included. Extremely flimsy design. Accidentally snapped a connector piece with very little force. My particular unit was missing one of the diffuser cloths. Center support bar ends are very weak and pop off easily.I unfortunately was able to use this after the return window closed, or I'd be sending this hunk of junk back.My LED light broke after a few months and they were very responsive and quick with sending me a new light box. I use this box quite often and my products come out great!Fairly easy to put together. Instructions were a bit vague, but im smart enough to figure it out. I took my very first picture and this was the result. Im happy.Once together it works ok. I needed to purchase additional lighting. This comes with only six bars of LED lights. It needs at lest 8 where they are mounted with an additional light above (there is none).Would be good, but electrical components are cheaply made. One of the AC adapters and one of the light bars have gone bad within a handful of uses.Really love this light box. Sturdy and easy to assemble. Nice and bright. Great customer service when I needed a replacement part.Looks good and easy assemble. Much better picture with this studio. With specialized LED driver, Brightness is much better than the USB powered LED.Originally bought a cheap fold up lightbox, immediately regretted it. Spent ages looking for something more suitable. Something that would be sturdy but lightweight, with controllable brightness and the ability to get some variety in light direction. This is it. I don't have a bad word to say about the lightbox. I've only used the white backdrop but I love the results I get. Perfect for taking product images (as long as it fits in the box!). Now to upgrade the camera kit...This is not perfect but good given its price. There are a few things I did differently to the instructions to improve things. Firstly ensure the bar which is supplied to make the unit rigid is attached upwards not downwards, otherwise it will sit too high causing objects to wobble and also show through light backgrounds, if so add a sheet of white paper between it and the background. The one I was supplied came with a diffuser, to help reduce glare. This is great unless of course you use the top opening which would then becomes totally obscured. If you are going to use the diffuser, attach it to the sides rather than the top, the idea is to give it a gap of an inch or so from the lights otherwise it doesn't work well as the lights which are a series of multiple LEDs , simply shine through and will reflect on any shiny surface you might be photographing. I insert several sheets of tracing paper over the diffuser to make it more effective.I have been photographing glass objects and found the light configuration in the leaflet useless as it created way too many reflections, I mounted them not front and back but left and right and into the far sides, which improved light distribution. Edge reflections are less noticeable if not facing you.Once set up the way you want, it works well enough, the adjustable light intensity is very useful.I absolutely LOVE this light box. I bought it to take photos of my needle felted sculptures. My photos before were terrible quality as I just couldn’t get the lighting in the right place.To start with the box folds down completely flat so it’s very easy to store. Assembly and disassembly are really super simple, you just pull it open and snap in one single bar across the bottom.I love to fact is reflective inside and includes a diffuser sheet so the lights don’t glare. I like the little camera access holes do you don’t need the front or top open and can take advantage of the reflective inner.The lights are very adjustable, in brightness (using the dial) and location (you can clip them anywhere inside)It includes several colour backdrops that clip into place.I looked at a lot of these boxes before choosing this one... I made the right choice. I’ve attached photos taken with my iPhone 8This is a good piece of kit and I'm pleased to have bought it. I've a few observations that may assist new users and those thinking of purchasing it. 1. Each strip light comes with its own power lead and brightness adjuster so you will need two power outlets or a 2-into-1 adapter (the manufacturer specifications indicate 1 power lead/adjuster); 2. The light diffuser will prevent use of the top aperture for photographing items top-down. The easy 'work around' for this is to (a) remove the diffuser and (b) move the light panels close to the edges of the box and, taking advantage of the rotational movement built into them, turn them towards the sides of the box - I find this sufficiently diffuses the light to prevent 'hot spots' and reflections from the light panels on most subjects being photographed (this solution works best with the white backdrop). Finally, although the brightness of the lights is adjustable their white balance is fixed (neutral daylight) but the resulting pictures can easily be 'warmed up' or 'cooled down' in virtually all editing software. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the product.
