They could also be put into a frame, and used as a mat.We used these at my father’s 90th birthday dinner. I copied photos from his entire lifetime and placed them into these frames. Although they are cardboard, they were elegant enough to display at this very formal but fun occasion. I started with a framed picture of my dad when he was a month old, and ended with a photo of him from just a few months before the party. In all, I displayed about 50 photos. The frames were on the dining tables and stayed standing the entire time.I thought the frame would have a piece of plastic over the photo but the frame is just open.Well made and would definitely purchase again. It was a hit with the party I threw.Very nice, thick paper photo frame. Loved the gold embossing. Pictures fit nicely but snug. Did take extra care when inserting pictures so as not to tear the pictures or paper frame, so I would suggest taking your time as this took me a couple hours to insert 50 pictures, but once done they do look lovely. Everyone commented that they were nice and that I must have went to a lot of trouble.These photo frames are better than I expected. They have a nice appearance with the gold outline around the frame. Very pleased with this purchase.
